I have been the hatchery manager in Aurora, Mo. for the past 3 years.
I began my employment in the hatchery in 1985. My first job was working in the washroom dumping hatch trays and washing dirty poult boxes. In 1986 I began working with the maintenance department. Shortly afterwards I began part time egg and poult deliveries from time to time as needed while working in maintenance.
Through the years as people were promoted or moved on to other things, I was promoted to maintenance supervisor. I served in this position for approximately 8 years. The next 7 years serving as the assistant hatchery manager.
I have had great opportunity to meet many wonderful people and create many memories that will never be forgotten. I am proud of everyone working here and appreciate the effort put out on a daily basis.
When I began my career here at this hatchery I had no idea how long I would be here or which direction I was headed. I am blessed with the opportunity to be here and look forward to challenges the future may hold.
